We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils’ learning and development under the guidance of teaching staff.
Responsibilities:
- The role involves working with individuals and small groups, including pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), to help them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- You will support the delivery of learning activities, assist with classroom management, and contribute to creating an inclusive, positive learning environment.
- The role includes helping to implement EHCPs, behaviour plans, and personal care programmes where required, while promoting independence, engagement, and achievement.
- The successful candidate will build strong relationships with pupils, uphold high expectations, and support their social and emotional development.
- You will also assist with monitoring progress, providing feedback to teachers, preparing learning resources, and maintaining pupil records.
