We are recruiting experienced and compassionate Care Assistants to join our agency team in Cwmbran. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care and support tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Carry out safe moving and handling procedures in line with individual care plans, training, and health and safety guidelines.
- Administer medication accurately and safely in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Support individuals with daily living activities, including meal preparation, eating and drinking, and maintaining a comfortable living environment.
- Monitor and record residents’ wellbeing, reporting any changes, concerns, or incidents promptly and appropriately.
- Promote independence, dignity, privacy, choice, and respect in all aspects of care delivery.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and healthcare professionals to ensure care plans are followed and high standards of support are maintained.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, adhering to infection prevention, control measures, and health and safety requirements.
