A leading facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support operations at a large-scale engineering and manufacturing site in Crewe. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to join a well-established maintenance team on a fixed-term contract.

Role Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical plant and equipment
  • Perform reactive maintenance and fault finding across mechanical systems
  • Maintain and repair HVAC, pumps, pipework and associated plant equipment
  • Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards
  • Complete job reports and maintenance records accurately
  • Work closely with site teams and contractors to ensure efficient service delivery

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or Maintenance Engineer within commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and plant equipment
  • Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or apprenticeship
  • Ability to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions
  • Strong health and safety awareness
  • Reliable with good communication and teamwork skills
  • Right to work in the UK
