A leading facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support operations at a large-scale engineering and manufacturing site in Crewe. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to join a well-established maintenance team on a fixed-term contract.
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical plant and equipment
- Perform reactive maintenance and fault finding across mechanical systems
- Maintain and repair HVAC, pumps, pipework and associated plant equipment
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards
- Complete job reports and maintenance records accurately
- Work closely with site teams and contractors to ensure efficient service delivery
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or Maintenance Engineer within commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and plant equipment
- Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or apprenticeship
- Ability to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Reliable with good communication and teamwork skills
- Right to work in the UK
