Applications are invited for a Senior Clinical Fellow, based at Leighton Hospital, Crewe. The successful candidate will be a ST3+ level clinician in Trauma & Orthopaedics and will be expected to deliver appropriate subspecialty care. This is a 12 month fixed term replacement post. The successful applicant must have full registration with the GMC and continue to hold a Licence to Practise. Please note if a high number of applications are received the application may close early.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside current senior trainees in T&O and participate in the ST Higher (non resident) on-call rota.
- Take responsibility for the patients under their care, managing a full range of presentations within the service.
- Undertake outpatient clinics, employing necessary clinical decision skills to formulate appropriate management plans.
- Assist subspecialty elective theatre and Trauma sessions under supervision of the Consultant.
Qualifications
- ST3+ level clinician in Trauma & Orthopaedics.
- Full registration with the GMC.
- Licence to Practise held.
- Ability to work in a 12 month fixed term replacement role.
