This role sits within the Education Travel Policies team. This is a small friendly established team which supports policy-making and decisions for school transport eligibility and arrangements with a particular focus on children with special educational needs and/or the involvement of social care. The role provides administrative support to the team.

About the Role: Dealing with telephone and email enquiries from colleagues, parents and schools. Maintaining records of applications and decisions using software. Managing your administrative workload and working accurately and carefully as part of a team to ensure that applications and queries are dealt with within a timely and efficient manner.

About you: Previous administrative experience. Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. Able to organise own workload and work as part of a team. Good understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
