About the role:
Pay Details:
- Unqualified/working toward City and Guilds level 2 (Core and Practice): Grade 3 - £25,185 pro rata, £13.05 /hr.
- Qualified to City and Guilds level 2 (Core and Practice) or equivalent: Grade 4 - £25,583 -£26,403 pro rata, £13.26-£13.69/hr.
Hourly rate enhancements are paid for unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays (plus lieu day for bank holidays).
Times Monday-Friday:
- Hourly rate Saturday Sunday and Bank Holidays 12 am - 6 am Time & 1/3 Time & 1/2 Time & 3/4
- 6 am - 10 pm Plain time Time & 1/4 Time & 1/2
- 10 pm - 12 am Time & 1/3 Time & 1/2 Time & 3/4
Hours of Work: 1 vacancy - 33 hours per week
Working pattern: 4-week rota / Monday to Sunday
Shift hours: 7am - 7pm
Description: To provide personal, physical & emotional care in a residential setting at night, for older people and older people who live with dementia. Work in accordance to agreed policy and process and contribute to care planning, review, accurate recording of information & administration of medication.
About you:
You will need:
- Experience of providing person-centred personal care, support with acts of daily living and emotional support to vulnerable adults
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Willingness to participate in training and work toward a professional vocational qualification
