Responsibilities
- Inspiring members to live active lives.
- Supervise pool and poolside activities on a rota basis, including some evenings and weekends.
- Maintain a safe environment and ensure member safety and well-being.
- Support training and development opportunities through our programmes (training and progression pathways, including NVQ apprenticeships and skill development).
- Support if you hold or are working towards National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ); NPLQ holders receive priority for shortlisting; non-NPLQ candidates may still be considered.
Qualifications and requirements
- Strong swimming abilities and customer service orientation.
- Role may require completion of the NPLQ course within 3 months of starting, subject to swim test and course availability (funding may be provided by Wiltshire Council).
- Availability for rota-based work, including evenings and weekends.
