The majority of clinical work is clinic-based, but service users may also be seen at home, as required.
Prepare and submit detailed clinical reports.
Develop a special interest in a clinical area in line with Trust objectives.
Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate clinical teaching and education supervision of trainees.
Lead and manage a team in a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Participate in clinical audit, service/team evaluation and quality improvement activities.
Appraise and give professional supervision to junior medical staff in line with Trust policies.
Ensure medical and statutory compliance, including GMC registration and Mental Health Act approval.
Support financial management of services and contribute to service planning activity.
Engage with local managers and professional colleagues to ensure efficient running of services.
