This is a consultant post in Infection (microbiology or microbiology and infectious diseases) based at Southmead Hospital, North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT) within Severn Infection Sciences (SIS). The successful candidate will support clinical microbiology services at Weston General Hospital (WGH) and deliver six Postgraduate Annual Review Plans. The role includes an out‑of‑hours on‑call commitment of 1:8 with inclusive cover across NBT and WGH.

North Bristol NHS Trust and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston (UHBW) are forming a merged Hospital Group. The postholder will take part in the merger’s cross‑site clinical microbiology and infection prevention.
