Responsibilities
- Play a key role in maintaining and managing the site's configuration, ensuring alignment with established management processes within your designated area, while acting as the go-to point of contact for configuration-related queries to help streamline the construction phase.
- Control proposed and implemented modifications, aligning them with the overall project configuration and supporting the integrity of a highly complex programme.
- Ensure adherence to procedures and safety standards, contributing essential input to the safety case and supporting the successful delivery of a safe and operable site.
- Keep the List of Applicable Documents up to date for your assigned area.
- Process construction change requests, ensuring the sequential update of the configuration.
- Manage the site cascade of the design change process into the construction configuration.
- Serve as the primary contact for your area on behalf of the project during HPC's construction phase.
- Run data checks across your scope, investigate discrepancies with numerous project stakeholders, then lead the appropriate resolution of each topic and track the necessary implementation routes to establish a compliant position.
- Manage interfaces between work packages on the permanent works to ensure smooth coordination.
- Identify and develop opportunities to streamline the configuration management processes and procedures on the Civil Works scope, and wider project as necessary.
Qualifications
- A degree/HNC/HND in a relevant science or engineering field, or a strong technical background.
- Experience managing engineering documentation such as Redline Drawings and Work Pack management.
- Knowledge of Configuration.
- Familiarity with change management processes and requests.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong communication skills, able to clearly present discrepancies found to wide-reaching MDT members for resolution.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
