Our client, a well-established franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Avonmouth, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy Parts Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to work with a leading commercial vehicle brand within a reputable, long-standing local business.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Duties

  • Manage trade and retail customer enquiries regarding parts sales
  • Accurately identify, order, and dispatch parts promptly to meet customer expectations
  • Provide exceptional customer service face‑to‑face, via email, and over the phone
  • Maintain parts stock levels through effective stock control procedures
  • Supply parts to HGV technicians within the workshop
  • Cover for the Parts Delivery Driver in their absence
  • Collaborate with the Depot Manager to ensure smooth parts department operations
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest parts catalogues and automotive systems (Kerridge/Keyloop experience desirable)

Requirements

  • Recent or current experience as a Parts Advisor within a franchise‑approved automotive dealership
  • Previous experience working with commercial vehicle parts is advantageous, but not essential
  • IT literate, with experience using electronic parts catalogue systems
  • Holder of a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong customer service and sales skills, with a friendly and professional telephone manner
  • Resilient, well‑organised, and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Residing within a reasonable distance of Avonmouth or Swindon
