We're looking for Support Workers in the Mochdre area, Colwyn Bay. As a Support Worker with Care Quality Services, you will be playing a fundamental part in improving vulnerable people's lives through the care and support that you provide. You will be supporting people who have varying needs and abilities, including learning disabilities, complex needs, and mental health conditions.

Role Highlights:

  • Shifts patterns: we have a two-week shift pattern available consisting of 24hr and 12hr shifts, averaging 42hrs per week.
  • Week A: Tuesday 7pm - 12hr Sleep-in, Friday 9am-9am Saturday 24hr shift.
  • Week B: Tuesday 7pm - 12hr Sleep-in, Thursday 7pm - 12hr Sleep-in and Sunday 9am-Monday 9am 24hr Shift.
  • £12 ph dependent on experience and positions available.
  • We can consider both drivers and non-drivers.
  • Opportunity to complete either NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Social Care (through work-based learning) and further progression opportunities.

Your ability to interact, build relationships and support our individuals in all aspects of their life and activities of daily living, which could include accompanying them on their holidays, social events, interacting with families and friends to encourage relationships and social development. A small cohort of our individuals who live in our supported living homes have the capability to lead and live independent lives; your support will be to help enable them to maintain their independence and live their best life. The role may include elements of personal care. If you are kind and compassionate, patient and friendly then you will make the perfect support worker. No experience is required and full training is given; we are keen to speak to you.
