We are looking to recruit Clinical Support Workers to join our established Nursing Team. The role involves working in an acute orthopaedic unit (Ward 10), an experienced environment for trauma orthopaedics, including complex total hip and total knee replacements and other upper and lower limb surgery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and support patients as necessary with both personal and clinical care activities.
- Maintain accurate records of the patient’s care, documenting as appropriate on the Electronic Patient Record (Cerner) in line with Trust, professional and departmental guidelines.
- Observe patients and report any changes to a Registered professional for review.
- Report any abnormal findings directly to the registered professional in charge or doctor.
- Undertake a range of basic housekeeping, stock control and administrative duties within the clinical environment.
