We are looking to recruit Clinical Support Workers to join our established Nursing Team. Successful applicants will work in an acute Trauma and Orthopaedic environment, supporting patients with both personal and clinical care needs in Ward 11, a 25‑bed unit specialising in musculoskeletal injuries.
Responsibilities
- Provide and support patients as necessary with both personal and clinical care activities.
- Maintain accurate records of the patient’s care, documenting appropriately on the Electronic Patient Record (Cerner) in line with Trust, professional and departmental guidelines.
- Observe patients and report any changes to a registered professional for review.
- Report any abnormal findings directly to the registered professional in charge or doctor.
- Undertake a range of basic housekeeping, stock control and administrative duties within the clinical environment.
