Join our Renal Care Team. Are you passionate about enhancing the quality of life for renal dialysis patients? As a Healthcare Assistant at our Clifton Dialysis Unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care following Diaverum procedures, ultimately improving our patients' quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing clean equipment following proper training.
  • Preparing supplies and packs for treatment.
  • Conducting health checks with patients before and after dialysis.
  • Escorting patients to clinical and waiting areas.
  • Serving refreshments during treatments.

Requirements:

  • Education to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (preferably working towards Level 3).
  • Previous experience in a hospital and healthcare setting preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with fluency in English.
  • Must be able to work clinically in a renal setting.
  • All positions are subject to a satisfactory DBS check as part of our recruitment process.

  • Full‑time position, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Saturday, 6:30am – 11:30pm; no nights or Sundays).
  • Competitive salary up to £25,086 depending on experience.
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full‑time hours (150 hours every 4 weeks).
