Role Overview

If you are an emotionally intelligent, kind, supportive person, who also understands how revenue generation ensures the future of social care, then you may be perfect for this role! We are looking for a mix between Alan Sugar and Mother Theresa! We want someone who is compassionate and passionate. Compassion is needed to help families through a difficult time and passion is needed to ensure that we achieve our occupancy targets and create great lives for the people who live in The Oaks.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Meeting discharge teams at NHS and private hospitals
- Involvement in and liaison with discharge teams around referrals for our enablement suite
- Ensuring all businesses in the area know who we are and what we do
- Fostering fantastic relationships with social work and mental health teams
- Creating community events in order to break pre-conceptions of care homes
- Supporting the Home Manager and Customer Experience Leads to create purposeful activity
- Supporting the Home and Customer Experience Leads to ensure a day-to-day presence on social media including Facebook
- Driving scores high on Google reviews and Specialist Market tools
- Thinking outside the box - e.g. charity days, supporting community drives or walking 26 miles!
- Being the face people trust to help get solutions to their needs
- Creating information events for older people and their families in the community
- Ensure the home is fully occupied
- Ensure the budgeted rate is achieved
Skills, Qualifications and Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience within a similar environment desirable.
- You need to be flexible, patient, with a "can do" caring attitude, and a real "people person".
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
