We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a 33‑year‑old man with autism and learning disabilities with daily injections. The role requires providing support Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday between 9:00 am and 9:45 am. The successful candidate will be patient, kind, punctual and able to follow clear and concise instructions. They should be comfortable supporting an individual who has difficulty with changes of plan, lateness and prefers a quiet environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer daily injections safely and accurately.
- Ensure hand hygiene and maintain safe medication practices.
- Provide transport support and carry a full UK driving licence.
- Use personal car to transport the client as required.
- Support the client with training, safeguarding adults and children.
- Maintain documentation and report any concerns appropriately.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with autism or learning disabilities preferred.
- Good communication skills, quiet and patient demeanor.
- Full UK driving licence and own car.
- Ability to adhere to routines and maintain punctuality.
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices for adults and children.
