Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and over £9 million of investment, they are expanding. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.

- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays; option to buy or sell 5 days
- Weekend shift patterns – Friday, 1 weekend in 4 with time off in the week; double time for weekends with bank holiday double time in lieu
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance inspections.
- Review parts used and recommend improvements aligned with projects and maintenance schedules.
- Carry out safety checks on a range of equipment.
- Monitor plant conditions, report defects and repair machinery.
- Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs and risk assessments.
- Report on plant performance using systems and ensure action on non‑conformance issues.
- Work on a range of valves and pumps.
- Support production and continuous improvement projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or apprenticeship trained.
- Continuous improvement knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of good engineering standards.
- Experience in food, packaging, drink or manufacturing environments.
