The Role

  • You will be responsible for delivering plant equipment, on a low loader to building sites across the UK.
  • Must be confident in loading, unloading and securing plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • 2-5 deliveries/collections per day nationwide.
  • Loading and unloading of plant equipment.
  • Start times between 04:00-06:00, Monday to Friday.
  • X1 night out per week.
  • Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Adhering to all health and safety standards, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations.
  • Completing regular vehicle checks.
  • Keeping vehicles in clean condition.

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
  • Driver CPC Qualification.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Low loader experience (preferred).
  • Experience using straps/chains to secure loads (advantageous).
