What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
- Experience in care is essential
- You must be able to work night shifts
- You must be able to drive or live close to the home
- There is one night care position available working 18 hours per week, to include alternate weekends
- This will be on a 2 week rolling rota: week 1 will be one 12 hour shift and week 2 will be 2 x 12 hour shifts
A day in the life of a Care Assistant:
- Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
- Personal care - supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
- Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
- Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
- Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
- Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
- Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
