An exciting opportunity has arisen following the promotion of a successful colleague for a motivated and dedicated nurse to join the team in Avenham Ward as a Senior Staff Nurse within a busy Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) on a permanent basis. Working in Avenham Ward offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic team committed to delivering excellence in mental health care.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide professional leadership and support to all members of the nursing team, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
  • Demonstrate strong clinical competence and experience in line with the person specification.
  • Deliver high-quality, patient‑centred care within a fast‑paced and challenging PICU environment.
  • Work flexibly across a seven‑day rota to meet the needs of the service.
