We are looking for a motivated, resourceful, and committed individual to join our team as a Female Support Worker at our Learning Disabilities service in Chorley. As a Support Worker you will be providing person-centred care for our service users, supporting them in everyday life and encouraging participation in a wide range of activities. You will use positive communication and engagement skills and demonstrate unconditional positive regard for those we support.

Support Worker Duties

  • Develop daily living skills and access educational, vocational and leisure activities with service users.
  • Build confidence, self-esteem, hope, and positive coping skills in service users.
  • Develop Person-Centred Support Plans aimed at happiness, health, and achieving goals and aspirations.
  • Implement guidelines and risk management plans, working positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
