Location: Site based covering Chippenham, Royal Wootton Basset, Newbury and surrounding areas.

Standard Hours: Monday- Friday 39 hours

This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Operative to join Novus Property Solutions, Planned/Retrofit division, providing high-quality joinery and multi-skilled repairs and replacement services within Social Housing tenanted properties. This role will support you, value your skills, give you stability, whilst keeping your work interesting and meaningful.

An outline of your responsibilities and experience:

  • Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Multi Trade Operative background, joinery experience essential.
  • The works include various enabling works prior to the commencement of Retrofit works, loft boarding or walkways, loft hatch alterations, airing cupboard construction.
  • Prior to commencement of the retrofit works, it must be ensured that all internal doors have a 10 mm clearance gap.
  • Prepared to support with some labouring duties including clearing loft spaces, supporting Site teams as and when required.
  • Receiving and allocation of materials
  • Adhoc working in tenanted properties
  • Social Housing experience is essential.
  • Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
  • Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively.
  • Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes.
  • Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery
  • Full UK driving license is required.
  • The role will also require a DBS check to be completed.
