- Children's Support Worker Part‑time Role Supporting a Wonderful Young Girl in Rochdale
- Location & Shifts
Location: Rochdale. Shifts: Thursday/Friday mornings and afternoons & alternate Saturdays.
- Your Working Hours
- Alternate Thursdays: 7:30am-8:45am and 3pm-7pm
- Every Friday: 7:30am-8:45am and 3pm-7pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 11am-4.15pm
- Total: Part‑time hours with a consistent rolling rota. Additional hours may be available across other care packages if desired!
We’re looking for a Female Children's Support Worker to support a 12‑year‑old girl with complex health needs in her family home and out in the community.
Meet the Client: Our client is a bright, curious, and lovely young girl who enjoys hydrotherapy sessions, cooking, and getting out and about in the community.
She needs a kind, committed support worker to help her live life to the fullest while staying safe, happy, and engaged.
In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team.
While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero‑hours contract.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting our client in her family home and in the community
- Assisting with activities such as hydrotherapy, outings, and fun cooking sessions
- Helping with personal care and following clinical care routines
- Driving the client's mobility van (must hold a full UK licence and be 25+)
- What We’re Looking For
- Female applicants only (due to genuine occupational requirements)
- Full UK driving licence (you must be over 25 to drive the client's vehicle)
- Someone who is compassionate, reliable, and enjoys working with children
- A positive, flexible attitude and strong communication skills
