About the Role
Birmingham Children’s Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to support Area Services during a period of staffing shortage. The Trust is committed to high‑quality, child‑centred practice and continues to build on its GOOD Ofsted rating.
Key Responsibilities
- Holding an allocated caseload and supporting the safeguarding and welfare of vulnerable children and young people.
- Completing assessments, gathering and analysing information, and ensuring statutory requirements are met.
- Providing practical day‑to‑day support to children and families.
- Working collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate case records, reports and evidence‑based documentation.
- Contributing to team meetings, reflective practice and service development.
About You
- Qualified Social Worker with post‑qualifying experience in children’s services.
- Strong assessment, analysis and report‑writing skills.
