Join Our Retail Team. Lead our small shop teams who are responsible for delivering a friendly buzz, excellent retailing and remarkable service. You will be responsible for building great relationships with our customers, knowing our food inside out, and leading an excellent retail operation. As well as driving sales you will also be a hands-on member of the team, serving customers and replenishing stocks to ensure the best possible sales environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 15 people and manage a business with £1m in sales; drive sales and deliver remarkable service.
- Provide first-class customer service to every customer, every time, and lead your team to do the same.
- Ensure every customer is treated with courtesy and respect and that they take priority.
- Develop team product knowledge to advise on menu planning and promote upcoming offers, products and promotions.
- Deliver all financial targets through your team and understand the P&L; maintain a reporting system for variances.
- Keep the shop immaculate, clean and presentable at all times and ensure the team represents the brand in service, dress and communication.
- Develop excellence in cash handling and weekly reporting for Central functions.
- Review service levels regularly and plan local marketing where necessary.
- Check deliveries and place orders; be accountable for accurate stock taking every period.
- Communicate with the team to keep targets and product updates up to date; ensure all team members are trained in all aspects of their role, including health and safety and daily shop procedures.
- Maintain staff records for discipline, sickness and holidays; lead by example and align with COOK values; identify potential stars and develop them.
- Ensure every team member works towards the same goals and fosters a culture of potential and growth.

- Can inspire and build a first-class team and has proven leadership experience (essential).
