CIS Security have an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious new office development in Chester. This role will act as an ambassador for CIS Security, delivering high-quality guarding and exceptional customer service to our clients and all building users.
Information:
- Location: Chester (CH4)
- Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
- Hours: 45 hours per week
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
Job Requirements:
- SIA Licence required
- Security experience is required of a minimum of 1 year
- Must have an excellent command of English Language
- IT Literate
- Basic understanding of access control systems and IT systems/programmes i.e., Microsoft Office for emails
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service
- Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needs
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site
- Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
- First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
- To have a smart appearance befitting the company
- Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties
- Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested
Job Responsibilities:
- Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users
- Able to work in a team as well as on your own and can be pro-active and think on your feet
- Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
- Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
- Confident in writing incident and shift reports
- The ability to be pro-active and think on your feet
- To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language
- To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded
- The role includes conducting opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, conducting emergency procedures
- You will be part of a team seeing this site through from refurbishment to business as usual and must be comfortable working on a construction site moving into an office environment
