Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and repair of plumbing related plant and equipment at properties owned and maintained by CWP.
- Act as a Competent Person (CP) within Health Technical Memorandum 04‑01, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Operate flexibly as part of a diverse maintenance team, demonstrating wide-ranging knowledge of water related systems including complex hot and cold water distribution, drainage, legionella control, etc.
- Participate in the on‑call rota, providing timely support and problem‑solving to keep areas operational.
- Use own initiative to solve problems safely and maintain continuous operation of plumbing systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Training to City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced Technical Craft Certificate or equivalent qualifications (NVQ 3, BTEC National Certificate/Diploma, ONC/OND).
- Completed a recognised Plumbing apprenticeship.
- High level of competence and the ability to operate independently as a Competent Person.
- Access to transport for work duties across multiple properties.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £28,392 – £31,157 per annum (Agenda for Change band 4).
- RRP (Additional Payment): £6,040.95 per annum.
- On‑call pay: £21.92 per occasion, minimum 1.5 hours, with extra time paid at time and a half (including travel time).
- Bank holiday pay for on‑call and time back in lieu.
- Standard benefits: NHS employment package, training provision through P2C induction programme.
