We are currently recruiting Agency Domiciliary Care Workers in Chepstow, including both walkers and passenger-based roles, to join our expanding care team. This is a fulfilling opportunity to deliver high-quality, person‑centred support to adults in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide care and support to clients within their own homes as part of a domiciliary care service
  • Travel between nearby clients’ homes on foot or as a passenger in a vehicle as part of scheduled care routes
  • Deliver personal care and support with daily living tasks in line with individual care plans
  • Support safe moving and handling, including the use of equipment such as hoists where required
  • Administer medication where appropriately trained and authorised
  • Provide companionship, emotional reassurance, and promote positive wellbeing
  • Encourage independence while respecting choice, privacy, and dignity at all times

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months’ UK‑based care or support experience
  • Experience in moving and handling, including the use of equipment such as hoists
  • A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach to supporting others
  • Flexibility to work a variety of agency shifts as required
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • SCW registration (if required for the role)
