The predicted salary is between 16 - 16 £ per hour.

Location: Stonehouse.

Hours: 07.30 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday and 07.30 - 15.00 Friday.

Start date: Immediate.

Pay: £16.00 per hour.

We require a Fabricator with a good fabricating background having worked with a variety of metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, and most non-ferrous metals. Our client offers a comprehensive one-stop solution, from concept and assisting with product design through manufacture to installation, and their team of qualified coded welders are committed to providing the large customer base with quality workmanship, whether small or large batch projects.

Working closely with local councils, architects and designers, they have experience of manufacturing pressure vessels, storage tanks, silos, cages, work platforms, security gates & grilles, bollards, balconies, railings, hoop ladders, gantries and walkways, mezzanine floors, ductwork, staircases & fire escapes for any application.

Responsibilities:

  • Worked with various metals.
  • To work with thin gauge sheet metal.
  • Reliable, hardworking, accurate.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Able to work to tight tolerances.
  • Able to hit the ground running.
  • Able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Good knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
  • Good understanding of health & safety at work.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CSCS or other skills cards (not essential but desirable).
  • Abrasive wheels training.
  • Forklift truck license.
  • First Aid certification.
