Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to support children aged 4–10 years during before‑ and after‑school sessions. The role focuses on providing a safe, supportive, energetic, and fun environment where children feel happy, secure, and engaged.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in fun, age‑appropriate activities
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere
- Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures consistently
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage social interaction
- Assist with setting up and tidying away activities
Person Specification
- Energetic, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
- Ability to engage and interact positively with children aged 4–10
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role
Safeguarding and Recruitment
- An enhanced DBS check will be required
