Lead on the development and delivery of clinical training and competency checking to ensure the broader workforce are able to carry out delegable medical procedures required to support the needs of children and young adults at the Seashell Trust. Develop and maintain systems to record and review the effectiveness of clinical training and manual handling guidance and risk assessment.
Main duties
- Teaching and training: Designing and delivering high quality clinical training reflecting needs of the current student cohort.
- Induction training: Develop induction training materials to ensure all contact staff receive robust training in all clinical mandatory areas e.g. BLS and anaphylaxis.
- Blended learning: Support the development of a blended learning approach to clinical training including the content and production of e-learning packages and assessment tools.
