Salford Community Leisure's Active Communities team delivers exciting, innovative, and highly regarded activities across the City of Salford to children and young people aged 4-16 years. We are looking to recruit casual employees to assist in the delivery of our highly engaging and rewarding activity, holiday and party programmes during the summer of 2026. We are passionate about nurturing inclusive and healthy communities and ensuring that every individual has access to opportunities and services that support physical and mental health, creativity, and personal development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of high-quality activity sessions for children aged 4-16.
- Support the delivery of our highly engaging and rewarding activity, holiday, and party programmes during the summer of 2026.
- Assist with session setup, delivery and monitoring.
- Follow session plans and instructions and communicate clearly and confidently with children, families and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Have an interest or experience in sport, arts, cultural or youth-focused activities.
- Can support the delivery of high-quality activity sessions for children aged 4-16.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with children, families and colleagues.
- Work reliably as part of a team, following session plans and instructions.
- Be organised and able to assist with session setup, delivery and monitoring.
- Demonstrate behaviours and values aligned with Salford Community Leisure.
This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check, currently £49.50 for an enhanced check.
