You must have full UK Right to Work (no sponsorship available) and be able to work shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and up to 10 pm, and possess a driving licence with a vehicle to be considered for this role. We are seeking a permanent, full‑time (37.5 hours per week) Healthcare Assistant to work in a specialist residential unit for adults with high complex needs based in Castle Cary, Somerset. Shifts are days only: early (7:30 am – 2:00 pm) or late (2:30 pm – 10:00 pm). The role follows a shift rota pattern. Salary: £27,700 – £28,700 per annum.
Key responsibilities and requirements:
- Previous experience in social care, preferably with adults with mental health, autism or complex needs.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, and up to 10 pm.
- Resilience to work in a highly stressful environment with challenging behaviours.
- Clean DBS and references.
- Driving licence and vehicle.
