Pinnacle Group is looking for an Experienced Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our properties and sites and play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. You will be joining our Workplace Security Teams based at Carrington, Manchester M31. Access to own transport is essential as there is NO public transport to the site.

Your role will involve monitoring premises, conducting regular foot patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed reports. You will need to be observant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills. This is a Permanent Role x42 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, working 4 on 4 off - 2xDays & 2xNights 6am -6pm / 6pm -6am rolling rota.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and manage the gatehouse environment.
  • Conduct routine patrols of assigned premises and detect signs of any intrusion or unusual activity.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
  • Liaison with local authorities, including police, emergency healthcare services or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, logging all security-related activities and occurrences.
  • Testing alarms and conducting various meter readings.
  • Operating a telephone switchboard and the use of client software in the control room.

Key requirements will include:

  • Valid SIA Badge – SG or DS Licence * Essential
  • Own Vehicle essential ** due to location
  • You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability, and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Full 5-year UK checkable work history.
