We have an opportunity for a Carpenter Multi-Trade to join a leading social housing provider, supporting responsive maintenance services across Swindon.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out carpentry repairs and maintenance as a primary trade within social housing properties.
- Demonstrating a range of multi-trade skills, including basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, mould treatment, and flooring installation.
- Completing mould washes and treatments, ensuring properties are left safe and in good condition.
- Delivering high-quality work within a customer-focused environment, ensuring a positive experience for residents.
- Working within social housing settings, maintaining professionalism when dealing with tenants in occupied properties.
- Following agreed procedures and working methodically to meet daily targets and service standards.
- Accurately recording job details, materials used, and work completed using job management systems.
- Working independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing workload and time.
- Safely applying products used for damp and mould treatment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- City & Guilds Level 3 Carpentry Diploma
