We currently have 3 vacancies on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern for Stock Controllers here on our busy factory site. We are looking for Night shift workers who would like to move their career forward as a stock controller. You will ensure our levels of stock are accurate at all times, have excellent attention to detail and have excellent communication skills. You will be able to order stock, use our systems, ensure we have correct inventory and ensure we have the correct items at all times. Working 48 hours on a 4/4 night shift, you will need to be reliable, flexible and possess good communication skills. Please note, you will be working in a busy factory; this is not a desk job.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory: Ensure that the company's inventory is accurate and up-to-date, with a high standard of integrity.
- Stock transactions: Assist in stock transactions, uphold stock integrity, and identify areas for improvement.
- Inventory checks: Complete stock checks on goods within the factory according to a weekly stock counting schedule.
- Reporting: Report any stock issues to the purchasing team or inventory lead and investigate discrepancies.
- Bills of material: Gain understanding of Bills of material and assist in creating and presenting inventory reports.
- Communication: Communicate with stakeholders internally and externally on inventory matters.
- Food safety compliance: Ensure food safety compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- General policies: Adhere to general company policies, including health and safety.
