Birkdale Tower Care Home, located in the heart of Birkdale, Southport, is a beautifully restored landmark offering luxurious surroundings and exceptional, person-centred care. As part of the Sandstone Care Group, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive environment where residents feel truly at home. We are currently recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Care Practitioner to join our team and help deliver outstanding care during nighttime hours.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting residents with personal care, hygiene, and comfort during the night
- Providing reassurance and companionship when needed
- Assisting residents with mobility and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitoring wellbeing throughout the night and promptly reporting any changes or concerns
- Maintaining accurate care records and ensuring clear handovers to the day team
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a calm, safe, and restful environment
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
- A caring, professional approach with a positive attitude
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends on a rota basis
