Birkdale Tower Care Home, located in the heart of Birkdale, Southport, is a beautifully restored landmark offering luxurious surroundings and exceptional, person-centred care. As part of the Sandstone Care Group, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive environment where residents feel truly at home. We are currently recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Care Practitioner to join our team and help deliver outstanding care during nighttime hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting residents with personal care, hygiene, and comfort during the night
  • Providing reassurance and companionship when needed
  • Assisting residents with mobility and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
  • Monitoring wellbeing throughout the night and promptly reporting any changes or concerns
  • Maintaining accurate care records and ensuring clear handovers to the day team
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a calm, safe, and restful environment

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
  • A caring, professional approach with a positive attitude
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends on a rota basis
