About the Role

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned to individual learning needs.
- Create a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
- Use positive behaviour support strategies in line with school policies.
- Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and parents/carers.
- Support pupils’ wellbeing, including personal care where required.
- Lead, coach, and support Learning Support Assistants to ensure high‑quality classroom practice.

Essential Qualifications
- GCSEs (A*–C or equivalent), including English and Maths.

- Strong classroom management and communication skills.

- Experience supporting or leading others in a classroom environment.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
