The Governing Body of this modern Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic caretaker. St Cuthbert’s is a vibrant, culturally diverse, community school in the heart of Cardiff Bay. The successful candidate will uphold the Catholic Ethos of the school and commit to equality of opportunity and inclusion for all.
Key responsibilities include:
- Securing and maintaining the school premises, opening and closing buildings
- Managing traffic flow into the car park and ensuring site security
- Carrying out health and safety checks
- Performing general maintenance and cleaning duties when required
- Moving and setting up equipment and liaising with contractors on site
The role requires flexibility, effective teamwork and availability for call‑outs during weekends, evenings and bank holidays. You may also be required to work additional hours.
