About this job:

As a Production Operative at 7 Steel UK in Cardiff, you will work 12 hour shifts (4 on/4 off) with 2 days from 6am - 6pm and 2 nights from 6pm to 6am. Your salary will start at £29,679.45 and increase to £31,175.01 after 6 months based on demonstrated technical ability and successful completion of probation.

You will play a vital part in our production process, operating some of the largest machinery and equipment in the industry and contributing to the production of around 1 million tonnes of steel every year. Health and Safety is your number one priority, and you’ll be confident to speak out if something is wrong.

Although our finished product is steel, we are actually a recycling company, the 2nd largest in Europe. The steel that we produce goes into projects such as Wembley Stadium, HS2, The Shard, Hinkley Point Power Station and Heathrow Terminal 2.
