Are you an experienced Vehicle Parts Manager seeking a new challenge within a reputable automotive group? Our client, a well-established commercial dealer group, is looking to appoint a highly skilled Vehicle Parts Manager to oversee their Cardiff and Newport branches. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a motivated team within a dynamic organisation that prioritises growth, development, and recognised excellence.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day‑to‑day operations of the parts departments in Cardiff and Newport
- Oversee a team of 15‑20 Parts Advisors, Supervisors, and Delivery Drivers
- Develop a high‑performing team environment through mentoring, motivation, and guidance
- Organise van logistics and coordinate staffing levels efficiently
- Manage stock control to optimise availability while minimising costs
- Ensure accurate administrative processes and departmental reporting
- Maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers and external partners
- Proactively grow trade and retail sales through exceptional customer service
- Support workshop and external customer parts requirements
- Monitor departmental performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Parts Manager within the automotive industry
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Proficient in stock management software (experience with Keyloop/Kerridge preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with a customer‑focused approach
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Ideally, experience within a commercial vehicle franchised dealership or with trucks and trailers
- Ability to work flexibly, adhering to the needs of the business
