Manpower is recruiting experienced Cook on behalf of our public sector client.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the production of both hot and cold food and serve on the hot food counter at meal times.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure all Health and Safety regulations are followed.
- Prepare and cook snacks and meals, both hot and cold.
- Manage stock and assist with deliveries.
- Monitor food safety standards and complete relevant HACCP forms.
- Maintain the area to the highest cleaning standards, including deep cleaning routines.
- Previous experience as a Cook is essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly; occasional early or late shifts depending on business needs.
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 (mandatory). We can support you with this.
- Weekly pay (PAYE).
- Free uniform.
- 28 days annual leave.
- Auto enrolment into NEST Pension.
