Supporting a young person with ASD and global developmental delay to access activities within the local community. The role involves assisting with safe supervision, access to pools, and ensuring confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Assure safety while accessing community activities.
- Assist with entry to swimming pools and other recreational spaces.
- Provide support during community visits and recreational activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of the employer’s personal information.
- Attend DBS check where required.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Mindful of conditions and requirements related to ASD and developmental delays.
- Patient, reliable, dependable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Possess a valid National Insurance number and employer’s reference.
- Ability to work in community settings rather than private home.
- Willing to undergo a probation period.
Benefits
- Paid holiday 5.6 weeks pro rata.
