Supporting a young person with ASD and global developmental delay to access activities within the local community. The role involves assisting with safe supervision, access to pools, and ensuring confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Assure safety while accessing community activities.
  • Assist with entry to swimming pools and other recreational spaces.
  • Provide support during community visits and recreational activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the employer’s personal information.
  • Attend DBS check where required.

Qualifications and Attributes

  • Mindful of conditions and requirements related to ASD and developmental delays.
  • Patient, reliable, dependable, punctual and trustworthy.
  • Possess a valid National Insurance number and employer’s reference.
  • Ability to work in community settings rather than private home.
  • Willing to undergo a probation period.
