A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 23 year old female with moderate Autism. I reside in the Heath area. I really enjoy make up, being around cats and small cute dogs.
PURPOSE OF JOB
To spend time at my home and in the local area. To take an interest in developing my independence, especially with cooking and traveling on public transport.
HOURS OF WORK
3 hours per week on either Thursday or Friday.
RATE OF PAY
£14.60 per hour
TASKS INVOLVED
- Going out to activities in the community
- Supporting with cooking
- Doing make up
- Befriending
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Someone who is reliable, kind, sensitive and caring. Punctual. Experience of working with individuals with autism would be an advantage.
ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you. Support cannot be carried out in the personal assistant’s own home.
