Work Location & Hours
Work is performed out in the community. Weekly hours amount to 5 hours, scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday (initially any of these days). Flexibility is required.
Responsibilities
- Take the individual for long walks.
- Play football with the individual.
- Visit leisure centres and other active locations.
- Assist with personal care and prompting as needed.
- Ensure continuous safety and support during activities.
Essential Qualities
- Trustworthy, reliable, honest.
- Patient, kind, good sense of humour.
- Enjoys being outdoors as well as indoors.
- Can respect confidentiality and build trust with the individual and family.

- Experience working with autistic children.
