Responsibilities
- Leading, motivating, and developing a team of 4 Used Car Sales Executives and a Business Manager to meet and surpass sales targets
- Formulating and implementing sales strategies in collaboration with senior management to maximise profitability from vehicle sales, finance, insurance, and accessories
- Driving customer satisfaction and retention through delivering excellent service, a core focus of the Used Car Sales Manager position
- Overseeing stock control and forecourt operations to ensure vehicle presentation and availability are optimal
- Analyzing sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and adjusting team efforts accordingly
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies and industry regulations
Requirements
- Proven management experience within a franchise-approved car dealership, ideally within a busy brand environment
- A strong background in used car sales management with a successful record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Extensive understanding of F&I processes and vehicle finance solutions
- Experience leading medium to large-sized dealership teams
- Excellent leadership skills, capable of leading by example
- Full UK driving licence with minimal points
