About the role
Audit Wales is recruiting a bilingual Business Services Support Officer to join our team in Cardiff. The role is permanent and part‑time, 26 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer‑focused administration services to the business, including travel bookings, restocking supplies, purchasing and courier services, bilingual call handling, visitor reception, and meeting room administration.
- Support a range of business‑services projects and programmes across Wales, covering administrative areas such as:
- Facilities management – accommodation projects, parking queries, preventive maintenance, reactive support, and supplier liaison.
- Health and safety – training, supplies, duty of care and related initiatives.
- Carbon reduction and sustainability – environmental management systems, performance measurement, reporting and planning initiatives.
- Procurement support – online orders, purchase orders, compliance review, tendering and contract management.
- Records management – archiving and destruction reviews and general document support.
Qualifications
- Experience with booking systems and purchase‑to‑pay systems.
- Welsh language call handling experience.
- Experience supporting administrative projects and programmes.
- Strong communication skills, analytical ability and good judgment.
- Enthusiasm for engaging with staff across the organisation.
