About this job
The Best Connection are recruiting a Sales Associate to join our clients team in Cannock on an ongoing basis.
The team is small consisting of 2 Sales Associates, an Admin and Branch Manager.
Your position will require you to work alongside an experienced plan partner to service blue-collar businesses that currently utilise their services by allocating suitable resources to fill the required order.
You will actively make sales calls on a daily basis to prospective companies within an allocated area to generate more business opportunities by actively engaging decision makers in the prospects business.
Following on from this you may be required to attend the prospects site to present further information to secure the business.
Your monthly KPI is 100 progressive decision maker calls per month with 1 new client conversion.
The business has an out of hours service which the team covers 365 days of the year 24/7.
You will be required to cover this service 1 in every 3 weeks which includes evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
This contributes to 50% of your commission earnings.
Hours of work are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Mon-Fri with a 1 hr unpaid lunch break.
Responsibilities
- Make daily sales calls to prospective companies within an allocated area to generate new business opportunities by engaging decision makers.
- Attend prospect sites to present information and secure the business.
- Collaborate with plan partners to service client needs and allocate resources.
- Meet monthly KPI targets including call activity and new client conversions.
- Participate in the out-of-hours service rotation (1 in 3 weeks) including evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Requirements
- Sales experience or clear transferable skills demonstrated in a CV.
- Ability to work 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and cover out-of-hours shifts as required.
