Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Have you considered working in a hospital outpatient pharmacy? Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the {Branch Name} hospital pharmacy.

You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals and Trust colleagues. Duties will include:

  • Dispensing medication on outpatient prescriptions
  • Stock ordering and management
  • Invoicing and financing deliveries
  • All other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy

To be considered for this role, you must have an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course, as well as a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification. Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate.

Additionally, we are looking for candidates with experience working in a customer‐focused environment, a strong understanding of confidentiality, and the ability to handle medications accurately.

Hours & Working Pattern of the role

Total Hours Contracted: 30
Working Pattern: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – no weekends. 7.5hrs per day.
